Celtic fans
“Celtic will be supported like you won’t believe, but that said, you know, Barcelona have all the class,” said Quinn on Sky Sports 1 on Friday afternoon (July 29, 2016) following the pre-season friendly match between Tottenham and Atletico. “Celtic’s season is up and running. I hope they do well, but I fear for them.”
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers
Barcelona are likely to field a strong team against Celtic, with superstars Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez expected to feature.
Scottish Premiership giants Celtic should also have a strong lineup, but Brendan Rodgers’s side will have an eye on next week’s Champions League qualifying third-round second-leg clash against FC Astana.
The Hoops played out a 1-1 draw with Astana in the first leg of the tie away from home on Wednesday evening. Celtic will head into the second leg at Celtic Park in Glasgow as firm favourites.
