Liverpool will welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Anfield on Sunday.

Sky Sports pundit Phil Thompson named six Spurs players in his combined Tottenham and Liverpool XI, ahead of the two sides’ clash against each other on Sunday, when writing a column for Sky Sports.
The game at Anfield should be a thrilling contest, with both teams desperate for all three points.

Liverpool currently sit in third position in the Premier League table, two points and two places clear of Tottenham, and neither side can really afford to lose, if they harbour genuine ambitions of finishing inside the top four.
Jürgen Klopp’s men and Mauricio Pochettino’s side are widely considered as two of the best sides in the league, especially going forward, they have some of the most exciting players in Europe amongst their ranks.
