Celtic will face Aberdeen away from home in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

Andy Walker - Celtic

Andy Walker has predicted on Skysports.com that Celtic will fail to win against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership this weekend.

The Glasgow giants will take on Aberdeen away from home at the Pittodrie Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Former Celtic striker Walker believes that Brendan Rodgers’s side will fail to win against Derek McInnes’s team.

While predicting a 1-1 draw between the two teams, Walker named Aberdeen defensive midfielder Ryan Jack as the key player in the match and wrote on Skysports.com: “The captain is finally getting back to full fitness and Aberdeen will need a good performance in midfield to nullify Celtic.”

Chris Sutton - Glasgow Celtic

Chris Sutton, though, has suggested that Celtic will win against Aberdeen.

The Bhoys are in good form at the moment, and the former Celtic striker has suggested that the Glasgow giants will pick up all three points from the encounter.

“They are sweeping all before them at the moment and Aberdeen could be next to suffer,” Sutton wrote in The Daily Record.

“I like Aberdeen. They deserve great credit for being the second best team over the past couple of years and I’m sure that’s where they’ll finish again this season.

“Their big chance was last season when Celtic were weak. That was the time when the could have won it but they missed the boat.”

Brendan Rodgers celebrates

Celtic will head into the match against Aberdeen on the back of a 4-0 victory over Ross County away from home in the Scottish Premiership.

The Glasgow giants are going strong in the league at the moment, and it is hard to see them lose on Saturday afternoon.

Aberdeen do have the quality to eke out a draw against the Bhoys, and perhaps if the Dons are able to score an early first goal, then they could even go on and register a narrow victory.
