Tottenham Hotspur won in the Premier League at the weekend.

Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino has suggested to Sky Sports that Tottenham Hotspur have the most solid defence in the Premier League.
The former Republic of Ireland international made the claim following Tottenham’s 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough away from home at the weekend.
The win for Spurs against Boro at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday afternoon means that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are now second in the league table.
Tottenham are just four points behind leaders Manchester City and are in the running for the league title this season.

Cascarino was impressed with Spurs’ performance against Middlesbrough and has suggested that the North London outfit have the most solid defence in the Premier League.
“When you lose your talisman [Harry Kane] it looked like they might struggle, but Vincent Janssen led the line brilliantly, and helped create for others,” Cascarino told Sky Sports.
“The first-half performance was especially impressive, and they really should have been further in front at the break, but with a defence which is probably the most solid in the Premier League, they can sit back on a one-goal lead. It was a really good performance.”

Tottenham are defensively very good, and that was a key reason behind their success last season.
Spurs have conceded just three goals in the Premier League so far this season.
City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea have all conceded more goals than Tottenham so far this campaign.
Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld are arguably the best centre-back pairing in the Premier League, while full-backs Kyle Walker and Danny Rose are brilliant as well.
