West Ham United thumped Swansea City 4-1 on Monday.
Paul Walsh has told Sky Sports that Andy Carroll made a “massive contribution” to West Ham United’s 4-1 win at Swansea City on Boxing Day.
The big striker made his third start for West Ham after missing three months of the season through injury.
And the England international bagged his second Premier League goal of the campaign in the dying stages by grabbing a fourth goal for the Hammers.

Andre Ayew had fired the Irons in front after 13 minutes, before Winston Reid and Michail Antonio added second-half efforts to make it 3-0 on 78 minutes.
Fernando Llorente pulled one back on 89 minutes, before Carroll restored the three-goal lead, and Walsh says that the former Newcastle man made a huge impact for West Ham in South Wales.
“Man of the match for me would have to be Andy Carroll,” he told Sky Sports.

“He’s not had a lot of game time, but he got on the pitch and held the ball up ever so well. He got his goal and made a massive contribution to West Ham’s victory.”
It was United’s third successive Premier League victory following a couple of 1-0 wins over Hull City and Burnley, and Slaven Bilic’s side now sit 11th.
Having Ayew and Carroll back from injury could be a huge plus and West Ham fans will certainly expect to continue rising up the table.
