Charlie Nicholas has told Sky Sports that he doesn’t think Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura fit into Jose Mourinho’s system at Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs switched to a 4-4-2 formation against Arsenal at the weekend, and their performance improved as a result of the change.
Tottenham ran out 2-1 winners over the Gunners, as they returned to winning ways.
But Nicholas has doubts over whether the tactical change will pay off for Tottenham in the long-term.
And he believes both Son and Lucas could both struggle in the new set-up.
“Tottenham are just trying to get through it at the minute. There is no rhythm or fluency,” Nicholas said.
“Their shape is questionable though and looking at the formation, is he going to get the shape he wants with these players? Lucas Moura will not fit into it, nor will Heung-Min Son, and Harry Kane seems to find it difficult too. Giovani Lo Celso has looked decent but defensively Spurs are a long way off.”

Son actually appeared to benefit from the change of shape in Tottenham’s game against Arsenal, as he put in his best performance since the Premier League restarted.
The South Korean fired the Lilywhites ahead with a well placed chip, after starting in a striking position.
Lucas also impressed against the Gunners, as he made 10 tackles in total from out wide.
