Charlie Nicholas has claimed that Carlo Ancelotti is ‘getting nothing’ from Everton duo Gylfi Sigurdsson and Richarlison, as he told Sky Sports.
The Toffees have had a tough time of it since football restarted and they were pulled apart by European-chasing, Wolves, last time out.
Everton will now take on relegation-threatened Aston Villa at Goodison Park on Thursday night.
Ahead of that match, Nicholas shared how Ancelotti’s players were ‘awful’ against Wolves and he was critical of their senior duo.
“Everton were awful against Wolves,” Nicholas told Sky Sports. “They were ripped apart. Carlo Ancelotti is getting nothing from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Richarlison. And Dominic Calvert-Lewin is not scoring now either.”

The manner in which Everton have been playing has also come into question because they have looked pretty bland since the restart.
It is perhaps an indication at the job Ancelotti has on his hands and how a number of his current first-team players aren’t good enough for his long-term project.
Whether or not the Italian will get big-money to spend remains to be seen. But one thing is for sure, the money that has been spent has resulted in the club simply going backwards.
