Tottenham Hotspur have been in fine form this season.
Sky Sports pundit Alex Scott shared what Tottenham star Kieran Trippier told her about his side’s improvements this season, during a guest appearance on Sky Sports’ broadcast of Watford vs Chelsea last night.
Spurs have begun this season in magnificent fashion, and they currently sit in second spot in the Premier League table, just six points adrift of league leaders Liverpool.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been superb to watch recently, winning eight of their last nine Premier League games, and they must now surely be considered as genuine challengers for the title.
One thing that has certainly improved this season at Spurs is their clinical nature, and they seem to be dispatching of teams even when thy are not at their best.
And Scott shared how that is what Tripper told her when she had a chat with him recently, during a guest appearance on Sky Sports broadcast of Watford vs Chelsea:
“I was actually speaking to Kieran Trippier and he was saying it’s just finding a way to win, which they didn’t do last season. That’s the difference.”
Next up for Tottenham is a home game against Wolves on Saturday, and the way they have been playing of late, it is hard to envisage anything other than a convincing home win.
