Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Speaking live on Sky Sports’ Premier League Daily programme at 10:10am on December 9th, Sky Sports pundit Phil Thompson shared who he believes is the better player out of Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min.
Spurs’ South Korean star was mightily impressive during the absence of Harry Kane, and led the line well for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
The 24-year-old has managed five goals and three assists in 11 Premier League outings.

Martial, on the other hand, has flattered to deceive for United this term, and has failed to establish himself as a regular starter Jose Mourinho.
In nine Premier League appearances, he has managed just one goal and three assists.
He has, however, shown a huge improvement in form over the past couple of weeks, and seems to have increased his previously questionable work-ethic.
And Thompson gave his verdict on who is the best player out of the two, telling Sky Sports:
“He [Son] gets stuck out on the wing sometimes, but when he has better movement about him, technically this boy is superior to Martial. Martial has probably got the more pace, but this season there is no comparison, Son has been by far the better of the two players.”
Both players will come up against each other on Sunday, when their side’s meet in a game that could have huge ramifications in regards to their Champions League prospects.
