Paul Gilmour has shutdown Chelsea and Manchester United transfer target Harry Kane moving to another English club this summer after Tottenham Hotspur agreed a deal with Bayern Munich for the England striker.

Both Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United have expressed interest in Tottenham striker, Harry Kane, but given that those clubs have to negotiate with Daniel Levy, then they know the answer they are going to get.

But one team that has been able to get to the table with the Tottenham chairman have been Bayern Munich, and now, they have agreed on a deal to sign the 30-year-old, as reported by Sky Sports.

Given that Levy has accepted an offer, would he do the same with another English Premier League side, for that same offer, if they came knocking? Chelsea have tried to get him, but given that he is a rival, then it has been tough, whilst Manchester United signed Rasmus Hojlund instead.

Well, according to Sky reporter Gilmour, he spoke to ‘some sources as of yesterday’ and they made it clear that it’s either ‘Tottenham or Bayern Munich’ for Kane, as he told Transfer Talk on Sky Sports (10/08/23 at 12:05 pm).

So, if Man United, Chelsea, or any other English team think they still have a chance to sign Tottenham’s all-time leading goalscorer now they know the price of Kane, well, they can think again.

“It’s an interesting question (on if another PL club could have him now),” said Gilmour. “As of yesterday, we spoke to some sources on this who were adamant that the only options are Bayern or Tottenham in this window.

“There was a 25% chance, as of a couple of days ago, PSG as well because they were showing interest. But the information we got was that Harry Kane was not interested in a move to PSG.

“So, it became very quickly. Bayern or Tottenham.”

Worst news for Tottenham fans

There was noise coming out that if Spurs and Bayern couldn’t agree a deal for the player by the time they played Brentford at the weekend, then he would ‘stay’ put, as reported by Sky Sports.

At one point, it seemed like that was going to happen, but Spurs fans have got the worst news possible.

One of their greatest-ever players, all-time leading goalscorer, is now leaving and heading for the exit door, as the heat and pressure is now going to hit Levy in the face like never before.
