Kaveh Solkehol has said on Sky Sports News that Stan Kroenke does want to engage with Arsenal supporters more.
Kroenke has effectively been a silent owner ever since taking over at Arsenal.
The American has been criticised heavily by supporters, in recent times, as they have no connection with him.
Josh Kroenke has had to come out and try to appease Arsenal fans during a question and answer session, with pressure mounting on them to sell.
But it is now claimed that Arsenal’s current owners do want to engage with supporters, in what would be a big change in stance.
The news comes amid a backdrop of noise that a takeover bid is planned.
Spotify founder Daniel Ek is expected to make a bid for Arsenal, but Solkehol has repeated claims that Kroenke doesn’t want to sell, which was backed up by his statement last night, and instead wants to try and repair his relationship with supporters.
“Everything we are hearing is that Stan Kroenke has no intention of selling Arsenal and has every intention of engaging with the fans to try and take the club forward,” he said.
“Now, of course that doesn’t mean that you can’t try and buy Arsenal, and that is what Daniel Ek is trying to do.
“Everything we are hearing is that he still wants to buy Arsenal and he’s very serious.”

Whether Kroenke will be able to win supporters trust back remains to be seen.
But it would be a start if he begun to communicate with Arsenal fans.
Either way, it seems some good may come out of the current situation at Arsenal.
And although Gunners supporters may not get their wish of new owners, a more open board would surely be a positive for the future.
