Glen Johnson said on Sky Sports News (1:40pm, February 13, 2021) that Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United will finish above Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal this season.

The former Chelsea and Liverpool defender, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, believes that Leeds will have a better season than Arsenal in the Premier League in 2020-21.

The Whites are a point and a place above the Gunners in the league table at the moment and also have a game in hand.

Arsenal and Leeds will face each other at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

Johnson said on Sky Sports News (1:40pm, February 13, 2021) when asked who will finish higher, Arsenal or Leeds: “My gut wants to say Arsenal, but I wouldn’t put a penny on it. I would probably go for Leeds.”

Arsenal v Leeds United

Arsenal do have a better squad, but Leeds have been the better and more entertaining team this season.

The Whites are under no pressure to finish in the top six or the top four, unlike the Gunners, and that is one of the reasons why they are able to express themselves so freely and can take the game to the opposition.

Sunday’s match at the Emirates Stadium could be a very entertaining game and could have a few goals. One should not be surprised if Leeds win it.
