Clinton Morrison is loving what Tottenham Hotspur have been doing during the January transfer window following the arrival of, Radu Dragusin.
As soon as the winter transfer window opened, Tottenham wasted no time and ensured they got fresh faces through the doors, with Timo Werner joining Radu Dragusin at Hotspur Way.
Whilst the highly-rated centre-back has put pen-to-paper on a permanent contract, it’s a loan deal for the ex-Chelsea striker from RB Leipzig.
Clinton Morrison stated how ‘people want to go to Tottenham to play under Ange Postecoglou’ after they also beat Bayern Munich to Radu Dragusin’s signature, as he told Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports (13/01/24 at 2:15 pm).
When the rumours started swirling regarding Bayern, it was understandable for the Spurs fans to fear the worst.
But their new centre-back kept his word, stuck by his guns and flew to London to finalise a deal with the Champions League-chasing side.
That says a lot about the former Genoa star’s character and he will now be available for Tottenham’s crucial Sunday trip to Manchester United.

“Dragusin is very good business,” said Morrison. “They were desperate to get him. They did want him, so it’s very good.
“Been at Genoa. A very good centre-back. A lot of people think he is a top player. But for Tottenham to do their business early, I think it’s a brilliant signing – I think it’s a great move by Tottenham and a great bit of business.
“When Romero comes back. Van de Ven was on the bench last week, he might get an opportunity. They need him. It’s perfect timing. They have got Romero out, at the moment, and now Ben Davies has picked up an injury, so him coming in, it’s such an important signing.
“Players will want to go to Tottenham to play under Ange because they see the process and the direction that club is going.”
Radu Dragusin to start v Manchester United?
Will Postecoglou push his new signing straight into the deep end? If he is ready, then it wouldn’t be a surprise if he does.
Micky van de Ven is back from injury and you would think he is pretty close to starting again, but Cristian Romero has had his own injury issues also.
One thing is for certain, Ben Davies is out, so it just opens the door for Radu Dragusin to make a debut by starting at Old Trafford.
And after all the excitement about his arrival, it would take the player’s levels up a few notches if he produced the goods.
