Dion Dublin raved about Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford on Sky Sport News (12:10pm, October 24, 2020).
The former Aston Villa striker, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, said that Bamford is a “very intelligent” footballer who affects games by just standing still.
Dublin made the comments about the 27-year-old after the striker scored a hat-trick for Leeds in their 3-0 win against Aston Villa away from home at Villa Park in the Premier League on Friday evening.
The former England international said about Bamford on Sky Sport News (12:10pm, October 24, 2020): “There’s a lot of movement you do not see that he does.
“A lot of the times his teammates will have the ball, and he will always do something for them or show something for them, whether it’s to stand still, so that that game moves around him and he would stand still just about it. Very intelligent footballer.”
