Dion Dublin said on Sky Sports News (1:26pm, October 24, 2020) that opposition defenders would not want to play against Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin at the moment.
The former Manchester United and Aston Villa striker, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, praised the 23-year-old for his development and form.
Dublin believes that defenders of teams Everton are going to play now would not relish the prospect of facing the England international.
The former England international striker said about Calvert-Lewin on Sky Sports News (1:26pm, October 24, 2020): “As a centre-forward, you want the defenders you are playing against to have this attitude, ‘Oh no, not Calvert-Lewin again’.
“And I think right now there are players that play centre-half for the teams Calvert-Lewin is going to play against and they are thinking, ‘Oh no, I don’t fancy playing against him’. That’s the biggest plus in his attributes he has at the moment.”

Calvert-Lewin has made a strong start to the season and is on fire at the moment.
The England international striker Calvert-Lewin has scored seven goals in five Premier League matches for Carlo Ancelotti’s side so far this season, according to WhoScored.
During the 2019-20 campaign, the 23-year-old made 30 starts and six substitute appearances in the league for the Merseyside club, scoring 13 goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
Everton have won four and drawn one of their opening five Premier League games so far this campaign.
For the Toffees to finish in the Champions League places this season, the 23-year-old striker will have to continue to bang in the goals.
