Kris Boyd has criticised Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham in The Scottish Sun for his performances.
The former Rangers striker, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, believes that Ntcham is not enjoying himself at Celtic.
Boyd thinks that the 24-year-old former Manchester City prospect is not happy at the Hoops because he wanted to leave the Scottish Premiership giants.
A report in The Scottish Sun last month claimed that the Hoops turned down bids from Bordeaux and Brest on summer transfer deadline day.
Back in May 2019, The Scottish Sun claimed that FC Porto wanted to sign the Frenchman in the summer of 2019, having explored the possibility of securing his services January 2019.
Boyd wrote in The Scottish Sun: “Edouard’s fellow countryman, Olivier Ntcham, is another one whose body language gives the impression he’s not enjoying himself.
The level of his performances have fallen off a cliff and I reckon a lot of that could be because possible moves to Portugal and France didn’t materialise for him.”
Improvement needed
Ntcham is a very good midfielder who has done well for Celtic, but the 24-year-old needs to step up and improve his performances.
According to WhoScored, the Frenchman has made seven starts and six substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for the Hoops so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
The midfielder has also made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Europa League for the Bhoys so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.
