Clinton Morrison has said on Sky Sports News (12:49pm, November 6, 2021) that Mauricio Pochettino could eventually replace Antonio Conte at Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Crystal Palace forward made the comments while discussing why Conte has been handed an 18-month contract.
Conte was appointed the Tottenham manager last week following the dismissal of Nuno.
The former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss has been given a deal until the end of next season.
Spurs have stated that there is an option to extend it.
Morrison said on Sky Sports News (12:49pm, November 6, 2021): “I also think there could be a chance that we might one day see Pochettino go back to Tottenham.”

Conte is one of the best managers in the world, and it is really interesting that he has not been given a long-term contract.
Why?
Was it the Italian who wanted a shorter deal?
Or was it Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy who did not want to give Conte a long-term contract?
Pochettino’s current contract at Paris Saint-Germain runs out in 2023.

Remember, Spurs head coach Levy was desperate to bring back Pochettino, 49, in the summer of 2021, as reported by Football.London.
Spurs fans love Pochettino, who guided the team to a Champions League final.
However, Conte is a more successful manager and is ‘elite’.
There is a very good chance that if Conte is given funds, then he will be successful with Spurs even in the short term.
