Michael Dawson has said on Sky Sports Football (6:24pm, April 25, 2021) that Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris played well against Manchester City today.
Tottenham have suffered a 1-0 defeat to Premier League rivals City in the final of the Carabao Cup at Wembley Stadium in London.
Defender Aymeric Laporte scored the only goal of the match in the 82nd minute when he rose above Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko to head home Kevin De Bruyne’s free kick.
Former Tottenham defender Dawson was following the match for Sky Sports, and the Nottingham Forest man believes that goalkeeper Lloris played well.
Dawson said on Sky Sports Football (4:24pm, April 25, 2021): “I thought Hugo Lloris in goal was fantastic.”
Meanwhile, former Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the result of the Carabao Cup final.

Lloris played well for Tottenham and was a strong presence between the posts against Premier League rivals City.
The Frenchman made some brilliant saves throughout the match, and the goal he conceded was not his fault.
City were the better team and were the deserved winners, but Tottenham had their chances and could have scored.
While the Citizens are now celebrating yet another trophy success, Spurs’ quest for silverware continues.
