Clinton Morrison said on Sky Sports News (1:59pm, February 20, 2021) that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola should make a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in the summer of 2021.

The former Crystal Palace forward, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, added that he grew up as a Tottenham Hotspur fan.

Morrison said that if he were City manager Guardiola, then he would make a move for Kane at the end of the season.

The Sky Sports pundit added that the 27-year-old England international striker will score 40 goals a season in the current City team.

Morrison said on Sky Sports News (1:59pm, February 20, 2021): “I would be honest. Sitting here, I am a Tottenham fan, so I am telling people what I am. I am a Tottenham fan. I have been a Tottenham fan for years. I was a ball boy there when I was 14 years of age.

“It pains me to say this, but if I am Pep Guardiola, I am going to get Harry Kane. Without a shadow of a doubt. If Harry Kane is in that Man City team, he goes and scores 40 goals a season without a shadow of a doubt.”

Should Tottenham Hotspur fans be worried about Harry Kane?

Kane is at the top of game now and is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League, and it would not come as a surprise to anyone if City looked at him as a potential transfer target in the summer of 2021.

After all, Sergio Aguero is in his 30s and has had injury problems over the years.

However, if Kane wanted to leave Spurs, he would have left by now. The 27-year-old seems happy at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and fans of the NOrth London club should not really worry about the striker forcing a move away.
