Don Goodman has told Sky Sports that Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka has been sensational this season.
However, the Sky Sports pundit has still not included the Arsenal winger in his Premier League Team of the Season.
The former West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers striker told Sky Sports: “I have to give out some honourable mentions too.
“Kante at Chelsea – who just missed out by a whisker – and the Leeds trio of Raphinha, Phillips, and Patrick Bamford who have all been really good.
“Bukayo Saka at Arsenal has been sensational, while Pedro Neto at Wolves puts a smile on my face.”
Saka is one of the best young players in entire Europe.
The England international has been arguably the best and most consistent player for Arsenal this season.
The 19-year-old made 30 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League this campaign.
The teenager scored five goals and gave three assists.
Saka also scored two goals and gave three assists in the Europa League this season.
What is remarkable about Saka is that he can play in a number of positions and actually does well wherever he plays.
Saka can play as a left winger, a right winger, a full-back, a wing-back and a central midfielder.
Arsenal have a real gem in their squad in Saka.
The Gunners have endured a disappointing season and could not qualify for the Champions League.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be determined to get that right in 2021-22.
Saka will be a key figure for the Gunners again next season, and Arsenal fans will hope that he plays consistently well yet again.
