Clinton Morrison has said that Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch will improve under manager Jurgen Klopp.
The former Crystal Palace forward has said on Sky Sports News (12:06pm, September 2, 2023) that Ryan Gravenberch is a good signing for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
The Sky Sports pundit believes that the 21-year-old Netherlands international midfielder will get better under Klopp.
Liverpool secured the services of the former Ajax star from Bayern Munich on the final day of the summer transfer window.
Ryan Gravenberch backed to succeed at Liverpool
Bundesliga champions Bayern signed Gravenberch from Ajax in the summer of 2022.
Morrison said about Gravenberch: “I think he is a good signing.
“Everyone will say, ‘If he is a good signing, why didn’t he get the game time at Bayern Munich?’
“Kimmich plays in there who used to be a right-back but plays there. Goretzka plays.
“These are top players. He is a good player, he is young. At 21, he is only going to improve. I think it’s a good signing, I think it’s a good bit of business.”

We believe that Liverpool have made a very good signing in Ryan Gravenberch.
True, Gravenberch did not have the best of times at Bayern and struggled for playing time at the Allianz Arena, but that the Bundesliga giants signed him in the first place shows just how highly he is rated in the footballing community.
As Morrison notes, the Netherlands international is just 21 now.
He is bound to improve and get better.
We know that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff improve players.
Mohamed Salah was not a world-class player when he joined Liverpool.
Sadio Mane was not either.
It was at Liverpool that Salah and Mane became world class and became superstars.
And we believe that Gravenberch could follow a similar trajectory.
