Jamie Redknapp has said on Sky Sports Premier League (4:08pm, September 12, 2021) that Leeds United winger Raphinha is a great footballer.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool midfielder believes that Raphinha is technically fantastic.
The Sky Sports pundit has outlined what he likes about the 24-year-old Brazilian winger.
Redknapp said about Raphinha on Sky Sports Premier League (4:08pm, September 12, 2021): “He is a great footballer.
“I prefer him playing off the right wing, cutting in on his left foot, make things happen with balls into the far post, run with it, shoot. Technically he is fantastic.”
Big hit at Leeds
Raphinha joined Leeds from Rennes last summer and hit the ground running at Elland Road.
The Brazilian scored six goals and gave nine assists in 26 Premier League starts for Marcelo Bielsa’s side last season.
The Leeds no.10 has scored one goal in four Premier League matches for the Whites so far this season.
Raphinha is a winger and is very good going on the attack and linking up with his teammates.
What is remarkable about the former Rennes star is that he works hard for the team and tracks back.
The 24-year-old is also full of energy and is a key figure in the Leeds team.
Meanwhile, Leeds winger Daniel James has taken to Instagram to make a post after making his debut for the Whites at the weekend.
The Wales international made his debut for Leeds in their defeat to Liverpool at Elland Road.
James joined Leeds from Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
