Clinton Morrison told Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports (20/02/21 at 1:25 pm) that West Ham striker Michail Antonio will cause Tottenham’s centre-back duo ‘all kinds of problems’ today.

The 30-year-old has been a key player for West Ham this season but missed their last Premier League encounter because of a knock.

If Antonio returns then Tottenham will have their work cut out because it then makes the Hammers a different animal, more aggressive and a focal point for them to seriously attack.

And ex-Crystal Palace hitman is in no doubt at what Antonio will do if he plays today.

“They will have a go. If Antonio is fit, he will cause them centre-backs, whoever they play, all kinds of problems,” said Morrison.

“This is poor defending from Hojbjerg (penalty conceded v Man City). He doesn’t usually make those kinds of mistakes. I think over the last few games he has made mistakes.

“I don’t know whether he’s tired because he’s played a lot of matches. He plays literally every game.”

The last time Spurs and West Ham clashed, they dished out one of the games of the season.

David Moyes’ side scored three goals in the last eight minutes, including Manuel Lanzini’s stoppage-time thunderbolt to record an unlikely draw.

Given both teams’ current standing – chasing for Europe – it wouldn’t be a surprise if the game goes down a similar path at the London Stadium.
