Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink told Sky Sports PL (29/11/20 at 6:55 pm) that he has ‘never seen’ Tottenham with a ‘better squad’ and he has never seen them being ‘so professional in their approach to games’.
All of this stems from the former Premier League hitman disagreeing with Roy Keane’s claims that Spurs won’t win the title this season.
There will be a sense of smugness from Jose Mourinho, at this moment time, albeit quietly, because his Spurs side are sitting top of the table after many wrote them before a ball was kicked this term.
But Hasselbaink has been impressed by what he is seeing from the North London outfit after they picked up a valuable point and clean sheet against their potential title challengers and rivals on Sunday.
“That’s where I disagree with you Keano,” said Hasselbaink. “If you look at their squad, player by player. Upfront, Bale’s still on the bench, Dele Alli who’s not involved, but it’s a long season and he [Bale] will play his part.
“I think they have a lot. I have never seen them with a better squad.
“Also, I have never seen them being so professional in their approach of games. In their game management. And that will take you far. Liverpool are still the team to beat.”

When Mourinho was sacked by Manchester United two years ago, a lot was made about his approach to that job, his character, his tactics and even his living arrangements.
Questions were being asked about what the trophy-laden coach has left in his locker, well, after a knock from Daniel Levy last November, he is now showing to the world that he still has the keys to unlock another door to win his fourth Premier League crown.
If Mourinho is able to pull this one off, it won’t just go down as his greatest achievement, but it will also send ripple effects across London, which will land on the doorsteps of Old Trafford in Manchester.
And if they don’t feel it then Mourinho will make sure they hear about it.
