Don Goodman shared that Arthur Masuaku ‘wasn’t happy’ with Sergio Reguilon ‘throwing himself to the floor’ during Tottenham’s 2-1 win over West Ham on Wednesday night, as he told Sky Sports Football.

Spurs booked their place in the semi-finals of the League Cup by beating West Ham in front of their own supporters.

All the action and goals happened during the first period, including Jarrod Bowen cancelling out Steven Bergwijn’s opener, before what turned out to be the winner from Lucas Moura.

Both of Tottenham’s goals came from Masuaku’s side, as he failed to stop Tottenham from causing havoc and putting balls into his box.

During his commentary stint for Sky, former Wolves and WBA striker, Goodman, noticed Masuaku not being pleased with Reguilon’s actions after he was tackled by the West Ham man.

“It’s good defending,” said Goodman. “He has been tested, hasn’t he, in the last few minutes, Arthur Masuaku.

“This time he withstands the challenge. He’s not happy with Reguilon, is he? He was throwing himself to the floor after. Looking for a free kick.”

In the end, David Moyes will be pleased by how his team performed because they were excellent throughout the 90 minutes.

They just missed that cutting edge, that bite and ruthless nature in the final third to put their name in the hat instead.

Both teams are desperate to add a trophy to their cabinet and would have seen this one as a realistic chance.

Whilst West Ham have missed out on the League Cup this season, there is still the FA Cup to come and they are still going strong in Europe.
