Jamie O’Hara has said on Stadium Astro that Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho has had enough of Gareth Bale.

Former Tottenham midfielder O’Hara, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports and BT Sports, has said that one can see that Mourinho does not seem to rate Bale much nowadays.

The Englishman has pointed out that against Newcastle United in the Premier League at the weekend, Mourinho brought on the Real Madrid-owned winger late in the game.

O’Hara said on Stadium Astro: “The Gareth Bale saga, I think everyone has had enough of that now, even Jose Mourinho has had enough.

“You can see, he brings him on for five minutes. He had a couple of weeks, three weeks of him producing, playing well, scoring goals, but in the two big games, Arsenal and Zagreb, he was poor.”

Has Jose Mourinho given up on Gareth Bale?

Bale did do well for a while, scoring twice each against Burnley and Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

However, the winger could not make a big impact against Arsenal in the North London derby and failed to rise to the occasion when Spurs were stunned by Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League.

The winger had has fitness issues this season, but when the Wales international has played, he has not been at his best.

Bale’s loan spell at Spurs ends at the end of the season, and it is hard to see the North London club keep him on loan for the 2021-22 campaign as well.
