Celtic are 21 points in the title race with their chances of winning 10-in-a-row looking remote

With over four months of the season remaining, Celtic’s hopes of securing a historic tenth successive title appear slim at best.
Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Livingston at Celtic Park means Neil Lennon’s side have won just six of their last 20 matches in all competitions, and leaves them with a win percentage of just 61.9% in the Premiership.
Rangers went on to drop points for the first time since September when they were held by Motherwell at Fir Park on Sunday, but with 21 points separating the two sides a massive turnaround will be required for Steven Gerrard’s men to be reined in.

Andy Walker believes that scenario is highly unlikely.
Speaking on Sky Sports prior to Rangers’ draw on Sunday, the former Celtic striker said: “I’ve been in a Celtic dressing room when it’s gone horribly wrong, and I think what you have to try and do is try and identify with the supporters.
“They are going through a lot of pain just now. This is going to be an endurance test for every Celtic supporter between now and the end of the season.
“Any Celtic supporter watching this game this afternoon (Motherwell v Rangers) is looking at the champions-elect, and we’re in the middle of January.
“That is where the pain comes from. The Celtic fans were told that they had the strongest squad possible at the start of the season.

“Everyone at Celtic was apparently delighted with the depth of the squad, the strength of the squad, the quality of the squad.
“Well, it’s been poor on and off the pitch, and it’s going to be a long number of months for Celtic fans to accept what is happening there, and very soon they’re going to be asked to dip into their own pockets again for season ticket money.
“I don’t think they’ll be dipping in to watch this team and this structure in place.”
