Sky presenter Dave Jones admitted live on Sky Sports that Pierre Emerick Aubameyang looked ‘stoney faced’ in Arsenal’s warm-up yesterday.
Aubameyang was left out of Arsenal’s starting line-up for their game against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday, after arriving late for the game.
The punishment was harsh from Mikel Arteta, but showed that nobody in his Arsenal team is above the rules.
Aubameyang has since celebrated the victory on social media, which suggests that all may be forgiven now.
But when he was out to warm-up it seemed that Aubameyang wasn’t best pleased.
The Gabonese striker looked angry during the warm-up, as he went through some drills.

And Jones said: “He looks stoney faced doesn’t he? He’s normally smiley and bubbly.”
Jamie Redknapp added: “He wants to play in these games, obviously. He’ll be disappointed and it’s difficult to speculate but the manager has flexed his muscles.”
In the end Arsenal coped well without Aubameyang anyway.
The rapid forward didn’t make it on to the pitch, but Arsenal still managed to win 2-1 with Aubameyang’s replacement, Alexandre Lacazette, scoring the deciding goal.
