Sky Bet have released odds on Bacary Sagna’s next club, with West Bromwich Albion installed as second favourites after Leicester City.

Sagna left Manchester City at the end of last season and has been strongly linked with moves to Leicester, West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion this week.

But according to the bookmakers, its the Foxes (2/1) and West Brom (4/1) who are most likely to conclude a deal for the 34-year-old right-back, in whom West Ham boss Slaven Bilic denied an interest on Friday.

And both clubs could well be in the market for Sagna, with Danny Simpson (Leicester) and Allan Nyom (West Brom) their only specialist right-backs at first-team level.

The Frenchman can also double up as a left-back if required, which could be particularly beneficial to West Brom, despite last week’s capture of Sagna’s old teammate Kieran Gibbs from Arsenal.

As he was already unemployed when the transfer window closed, Sagna can be registered with a new club immediately.
