Speaking on the Soccer AM YouTube channel, Neal Maupay and Lewis Dunk have been waxing-lyrical about reported Arsenal target Yves Bissouma.

The Malian has been the subject of so much transfer speculation over the past few months. The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle have all been linked as of late, and it’s not hard to understand why.

Bissouma has been absolutely brilliant over the past 18 months or so, and his teammates have had nothing but good things to say about him.

What’s been said?

Maupay and Dunk were full of praise for Bissouma.

“In training he does skills you’ve never seen before, he tries things and you are like ‘woah’,” Maupay said.

“You have to shout at him on the pitch and you get a sore throat from it, but when he does it he’s a machine, the way he wins the ball back, he’s a machine,” Dunk added.

“I say this because he’s in my team and he’s my friend, but I think he’s one of the best midfielders in the Prem, he’s got to be,” Maupay concluded.

Set for bigger things

There’s a reason the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on Bissouma. He’s good enough to play for a top club.

As Maupay says, Bissouma is arguably one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, and he’d suit playing for any top side.

What happens with Bissouma in the summer remains to be seen, but don’t be shocked if he gets a big move.
