Manchester City are reportedly willing to sell their star striker Gabriel Jesus in the summer but should Tottenham Hotspur swoop in?

Pep Guardiola’s side have been keen to sign the Portuguese sensation for quite some time now but the report reveals that they will have to offload Jesus to bring him in.
Jesus has played second fiddle to Sergio Aguero this season having started just 8 times in the Premier League so far. Despite not being a regular starter, the 22-year-old has still scored 19 goals in all competitions so far and letting him go is a huge surprise considering his qualities.
However, Manchester City’s loss could well be Tottenham’s gain if they swoop in for the Brazilian in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Spurs have had their problems in the absence of Harry Kane this season. Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen haven’t made the kind of impact that Pochettino would’ve wanted them to which has forced the Spurs boss to use Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura up front.
Tottenham’s failure to sign a single player in the last two transfer windows has cost them in their bid to challenge for the title but Mauricio Pochettino has led them to the finals of the Champions League.

Spurs will need to invest in the summer if they want to have any chance of challenging for the title next season and signing Gabriel Jesus would be a huge statement of intent. Jesus can be partnered up with Harry Kane to form one of the most dangerous strike partnerships in the league.
The Brazilian, still only 22, has the world at his feet and under Pochettino, he can take his game to a whole new level to become one of the best in the business in the coming years.
Spurs should pounce on the opportunity of signing Jesus in the summer transfer window.
