Rangers boss Steven Gerrard revealed his admiration for his star midfielder Ryan Jack in the aftermath of their 2-0 win against Celtic.

Rangers stole the show in the derby against their arch-rivals Celtic in a convincing 2-0 victory at Ibrox on Sunday. James Tavernier’s early strike followed by Scott Arfield’s second-half goal gave the Gers the bragging rights despite losing the title to Celtic.
Ryan Jack was at the centre of discussion with Gerrard heaping praise on the 27-year-old’s performance in the game and in the whole season.
Jack has been an integral part of Gerrard’s side having played 45 games in all competitions for Rangers this season. The midfielder has four goals and four assists to his name so far, but his presence in central midfield has played a massive part in the Gers’ success this season.

Gerrard was quoted saying “Jacko has been a dream to coach, a dream to be around. He coaches himself. He’s a winner, he has incredible standards.”
Praise that high from one of the best midfielders in world football will be something to cherish for Jack who will be hoping to continue his fine performances next season as Rangers look to close the gap with their arch-rivals.
