St. Totteringham’s day was something Arsenal fans used for over two decades to assert their bragging rights over Tottenham Hotspur but have things changed?

Both sides come into the game at the Emirates on the back of a defeat but Spurs could have a point or two to prove after their poor result against Newcastle last Sunday.
A positive result against their North London neighbours will go a long way in helping them finish above them this season but Son says that Tottenham don’t care about a higher placed finish to Arsenal anymore.
He said: “I think we finished ahead in the last three years. But we don’t actually care. We focus on ourselves. We just want to finish better and better. We don’t care about any other teams. We just want to finish as high as possible. Of course, Arsenal is a big derby for us. But it’s another game. We are just looking forward to winning these games.”
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have well and truly broken the curse against Arsenal as they ended their two-decade-plus run of finishing below them in the Premier League. However, the Gunners have strengthened massively in the summer and the tables could well turn again by the end of the campaign.

Tottenham have failed to win a single league game at the Emirates in close to nine years and, if their performance against Newcastle was anything to go by, the terrible run could continue on Sunday. Pochettino’s side are set to be without summer signing Tanguy Ndombele who is expected to miss out due to an injury.
A loss this weekend would create a five-point gap between the two sides which is significant despite still being in the first month of the campaign. Pochettino has won just three games out of a possible 10 against Unai Emery and he will be looking to change the record come Sunday.
