Everton boss Marco Silva is under serious pressure after his side’s disappointing start to the season.

Two wins and one draw in their opening seven games have pushed Everton down to 15th place in the Premier League. The Toffees have lost three league games on the bounce and Marco Silva is under immense pressure to turn things around against Burnley this weekend.
Everton’s biggest problem yet again has been their attack. The Merseysiders have scored just six goals in seven games in the league so far with three of them coming against Wolves at the start of last month.
Summer signing Moise Kean is yet to open his account while Dominic Calvert-Lewin, as hard-working as he has been, hasn’t quite come up with goods in terms of goals in the Premier League.
Silva had some good success early on last season when he played Richarlison as a number nine and repeating the same could prove to be hugely fruitful in the coming weeks. The Brazilian started 11 games as a centre-forward last term and was directly involved in six goals.
His partnership with Gylfi Sigurdsson was immense for the Toffees and and the duo could form a lethal central partnership if Silva was to play Richarlison upfront. Summer signing Alex Iwobi has had a decent start to life at Goodison Park and would be an ideal player out on one wing.

Bernard is another player who was impressive for the Toffees last season and he would form what would be an incredible attacking trio upfront alongside Richarlison and Iwobi. With Sigurdsson feeding the trio, Everton’s season could quickly turn around and Silva could breathe easier at least till the end of the year.
Kean and Calvert-Lewin would be incredible backup options off the bench. Kean was brought on against Manchester City on the right-wing where he looked comfortable. This opens up a ton of options for Silva who needs to change something in order to get his team back to winning ways.
