Celtic finished the league campaign in fine fashion with a victory against Hearts and skipper Scott Brown revealed his thoughts about the summer window.

Celtic clinched their eighth successive league title in Scotland and a win next weekend against Hearts in the final of the Scottish Cup will complete an impressive domestic treble. The Hoops will aim to equal their historic record of nine straight league wins next season but, before that, issues regarding their squad need to be addressed.
This season’s loan signings are all expected to return to their parent clubs while, with Neil Lennon’s position still in the balance, the future of a number of stars will remain unclear.
Mikael Lustig, Emilio Izaguirre, Cristian Gamboa and Dorus de Vries will all be out of contract in the summer while Dedryck Boyata’s move to Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin is now confirmed.
Speaking in the aftermath of the game against Hearts, skipper Brown has revealed that he expects to see a lot of changes in the squad next season.

The Daily Record quoted Brown saying: “There will be a clear-out at the end of the season and a lot of people will be leaving and there will be a lot of new faces coming in as well. There’s a lot of lads who have been here a long time that love being here and have won a lot of trophies and I think that’s what makes this club special. The lads have a lot of love and passion for the club and for the fans as well.”
With arch-rivals Rangers slowly closing the gap at the top, Celtic will need to have a good summer window in terms of player recruitment, while the decision on who will be the manager will also be of massive importance.
