Crystal Palace are reportedly close to completing a move to sign Swansea City’s Jordan Ayew on a permanent deal.

Ayew spent last season on loan at Selhurst Park but failed to have the best of campaigns.
The Ghanaian international scored and assisted a total of just four goals in all competitions last term but that hasn’t stopped Palace from making a permanent move for him this summer.
Swansea are looking to offload a number of their highest earners according to the report and Jordan Ayew, along with his brother Andre and Borja Baston, are all expected to be cleared off their wage bill before the start of the season.
The report reveals that the Eagles will fork out a fee of around £2.5 million with add-ons to sign the 27-year-old which certainly won’t pinch their transfer budget after making a humongous profit from the sale of Aaron Wan Bissaka to Manchester United.

Palace are also at the risk of losing star attacker Wilfried Zaha who has attracted serious interest from fellow Premier League side Arsenal (Daily Mail).
Losing Zaha would be a massive blow, especially after how good he was last season but Palace, with the potential signing of Ayew, may be getting prepared for life without the Ivorian.
Ayew has had his fair share of experience in England having played 100 games in the Premier League for Aston Villa, Swansea City and Crystal Palace.
The former Marseille forward’s versatility will give Hodgson a wide variety of options next season and Ayew could have a chance to finally make the kind of impact that he is capable of next term.
