Peter Crouch has revealed that he is thinking about his future in the aftermath of Burnley’s defeat to Arsenal on Sunday.

After coming on for the final 13 minutes against Arsenal, Peter Crouch almost immediately made an impact, but his shot from close range was saved by Bernd Leno.
Crouch revealed his thoughts about his future in the aftermath of the defeat to the Gunners in the final day of the season on Sunday.
Having joined the Clarets on a short-term deal in January from Stoke City, Crouch failed to start a single game for the Clarets after struggling to recover from an appendix surgery which ruled him out for two months.
The 38-year-old has admitted that he is considering retirement after an impressive 23 years of playing regularly in England. However, Crouch revealed that he is fit and fears about the difficulty he could face on the morning after he decides to hang up his boots.
He was quoted by Sky Sports saying: “I’ve been playing every day for 23 years. It’s a long time and to wake up one morning and not have it will be hard.”

The former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur forward has revealed that he will sit down and discuss what’s next with his family in the coming days and said that he will probably “get told what to do”
Crouch has taken in the advice of many retired players who he claims have told him that he should continue playing as long as he could.
However, at 38, it will be difficult to cope with the physicality of the Premier League and the forward will have to come to a wise decision in the coming days.
