Tottenham face West Ham in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening, and while other teams may be tempted to field weakened sides, we think Spurs may put out a strong XI for this one.
Indeed, there aren’t many teams playing in the League Cup this week with more incentive to get a result.
Think about it, this is Spurs’ chance to reach a semi-final and potentially end what will soon be a 15-year trophy drought, while Tottenham always want to get one over their fierce London rivals, West Ham.
With all of that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Spurs’ starting XI for this match.

We think that Tottenham will make six changes, but this still looks like an incredibly strong side.
Hugo Lloris remains in the sticks, while there are three changes to the back five.
The midfield looks rather different as well as Oliver Skipp and Giovani Lo Celso come in, while Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son starts up top.
This could be a very tight game, but with Spurs’ first-team having plenty of time to rest in recent weeks, we don’t think they’ll need to rotate too much, especially after their elimination from the Europa Conference League cleared up their schedule a bit.
