Liverpool reportedly want Tom Heaton before he joined Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.

The former Liverpool and Celtic star believes that Heaton is a very good signing for Villa in the summer transfer window.
According to BBC Sport, the Villans had to pay Burnley a transfer fee of £8 million in order to secure the services of the 33-year-old.
According to The Daily Mail, Liverpool were also interested in securing the services of the England international goalkeeper.
Dalglish wrote in The Sunday Post (print edition, Post Match, August 4, 2019): “Aston Villa have spent in the region of £140m, but it’s not about how much you have laid out.
“It’s about how every individual player settles into the environment and settles into the unit. The signing of keeper Tom Heaton might make all the difference to Villa.”

Good signing for Aston Villa?
Heaton may be 33 years of age, but the goalkeeper is hugely experienced and is a very smart signing for Villa.
The Villans needed someone with extensive experience in the Premier League for the 2019-20 campaign, and they have got one in Heaton.
Villa have been quite busy in the summer transfer window and have made a number of signings, and the Villa Park faithful will expect the team to make a positive start to the 2019-20 Premier League season.
