Sir Kenny Dalglish has suggested in The Sunday Post that Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is frustrated at the club.

The Liverpool legend made the comments referring to Pochettino’s recent remarks about transfer dealings at Tottenham.

Pochettino recently said that he is not the manager of Spurs, but the coach, explaining that he is not involved in transfer activity, as quoted in The Sun.

Dalglish wrote in The Sunday Post: “He has told people exactly how it works. There should only be cause for concern if the goalposts have been moved this summer by the club hierarchy.

“So have they? I’m sure that question will be asked as he builds up to his side’s opener at home to Aston Villa on Saturday.

“Equally, if the manager decides that he wants to change the dynamics, then he might have a problem coming his way. There certainly seems to have been a frustration there.”

Tottenham Hotspur transfers

Spurs did not sign a single player last summer or in the January transfer window, but the North London outfit still managed to finish in the top four of the Premier League table last season and also reached the final of the Champions League.

The North London outfit, though, have made a major signing this summer, bringing in Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon, while they have sent winger Jack Clarke back on loan to Leeds United for the 2019-20 campaign.

Spurs, though, still need to bring in a couple of more players, especially a good back-up striker who can score goals when Harry Kane is injured or out of form.
