Perry Groves has given his verdict on Manchester United attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
The former Arsenal winger and talkSPORT pundit has also had his say on United forward Marcus Rashford.
So, what has Perry Groves said about Manchester United attackers Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford? Let’s take a look.
Manchester United urged to sell Bruno Fernandes
Well, former Arsenal winger Perry Groves has slammed Manchester United duo Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.
The talkSPORT pundit was not impressed by the performance of Portugal attacking midfielder Fernandes and England international forward Rashford for United in the defeat to Fulham this past weekend.
The pundit thinks that new United investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe and a potential new manager should get rid of Rashford as well as his £240,000-a-week (Spotrac) teammate.

Groves told talkSPORT: “Manchester United are still rotten. Erik ten Hag is swimming against the tide.
“If you were a new manager going in the two players I’d get rid of straight away are Bruno Fernanes and Marcus Rashford. They’re everything that is wrong with Manchester United.
“They’re lazy. Bruno Fernandes is never a captain in a million years – I said that after they lost 7-0 at Anfield and he was trying to do his socks or his shinpads or whatever.”
My View: Manchester United cannot sell Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford in the same window
In my opinion, it would not be possible for Manchester United to sell Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford in the summer transfer window.
Both Fernandes and Rashford are big figures at United and are regulars in the starting lineup, and I do not see the Red Devils pushing both of them out in the same transfer window.
While Rashford has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain, Fernandes does not seem to have any major suitors.
Fernandes is a good player. I do not think that he is a ‘leader’ in the middle of the park, but he is a very creative midfielder.
The 29-year-old has scored three goals and given three assists in 25 Premier League matches this season.
Fernandes is 29 now and is at the top of his game. He is United’s playmaker-in-chief. It would cost a lot to replace the Portugal international attacking midfielder.
Moreover, United may not be able to get a world-class playmaker. They might have to find a young player, who could take a while to make an impact.
