Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after seeing what Naby Keita did for Guinea against Guinea-Bissau last night in the 1-1 draw.
What’s the story?
Well, Keita couldn’t help his country secure a win, although his wonderful pass led to François Kamano opening the scoring in the 7th minute.
Liverpool’s £120,000-a-week man can be seen buying himself a bit of space with some quick stepovers, before lifting his head up.
Keita seems Kamano running, and curls an exceptional pass around the opposition backline and right into the 25-year-old’s path.
The vision and technique needed to execute such a ball should not be understated.
It’s something we haven’t really seen too much from Keita at Liverpool, although that will hopefully change this season.
Naby Keita’s time to shine at Liverpool?

After Gini Wijnaldum left for Paris Saint-Germain and wasn’t replaced, Keita has a chance to earn more game time under Jürgen Klopp.
With one less player as competition, the £52.75m man has a real opportunity to step into the Dutchman’s shoes, which he needs to take.
Keita impressed during pre-season, but Klopp has already made a decision which doesn’t bode well for him.
The German decided to start Harvey Elliott ahead of Keita in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea, despite Klopp starting the Guinean against Norwich and Burnley.

Was the Liverpool boss unhappy with those displays? Hopefully not.
In truth, Keita should come to expect this. He’s extremely injury prone, and with so many options in midfield, Klopp is bound to rest him every now and again.
In the meantime, let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying about Keita’s wonderful assist last night…
