
Some Celtic fans on social media have their eyes set on Nuno Espirito Santo after the club announced that Eddie Howe won’t be joining the Bhoys.
It was thought for the longest time that Howe would become the Glasgow outfit’s new manager, but on Friday it emerged that the former Bournemouth boss won’t be taking the job.
Understandably, Celtic supporters began discussing alternatives on social media, and one name that continuously cropped up was Nuno’s.
The former Wolves manager left his post at Molineux earlier this month, and it has to be said that he’d be a great candidate.
He’s no stranger to British football and he’s an excellent tactician, guiding Wolves from the Championship all the way to the lofty heights of a Europa League quarter-final.
So, could Nuno become the new Celtic boss? Well he’s out of work at the moment, so it’s not out of the question, but there haven’t been any concrete reports linking him to the Parkhead post as of yet.
However, if the higher-ups at Celtic Park are listening to their fanbases pleas on social media, Nuno is someone they may well consider in the near future.
