Celtic play host to RB Leipzig in the Europa League tonight.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers spoke to reporters yesterday, ahead of his side’s crunch Europa League clash with RB Leipzig tonight, and admitted that his team are an inferior outfit to the Bundesliga club, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
The Hoops have dominated domestic football in recent years, winning seven consecutive league titles, but their struggles on the continent have been very well documented.
Celtic have the chance to salvage their Europe League hopes this season with a win against Leipzig tonight at Parkhead, but that will obviously be a lot easier said than done.
Rodgers addressed the media in the build-up to Celtic’s clash with the German outfit, and admitted that his team are inferior to tonight’s visitors, as quoted by the Daily Mail:

“If you are looking man for man, they’re better than us. Simple. That’s why they’re third in the Bundesliga and why they’ll be challenging in domestic and, probably, European competition. For us, we always have to be about the collective. Okay, we might be playing against a very good squad but we still have to go and show our true face. If we play how we can and lose, okay, that can happen.”
The Hoops will have to be at their very best tonight, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of beating Ralf Rangnick’s men, and they have every chance of doing just that, playing in front of their partisan home support.
The game kicks off at 20:00 and can be seen exclusively live on BT Sport.
