Glenn Murray put Brighton in the lead from the penalty spot midway through the first half, with Leeds’s Kalvin Phillips sent off.
Then on 82 minutes, Tomer Hemed wrapped up the points for the Seagulls with his side’s second spot kick.

Brighton are one of the best sides in the Championship, and winning against them on their own turf was always going to be tough for Leeds.
The West Yorkshire outfit are still in the playoffs at the moment, and they are very much in contention of a top-six finish in the league this season.
Leeds will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Reading at Elland Road in the Championship.
