Simon Mignolet’s future at Liverpool seems very up in the air right now.

There appears to be very mixed signals at Liverpool in regards to Simon Mignolet’s future.
It was only Monday when Reds boss Jurgen Klopp revealed that he expected the Belgian goalkeeper to stay on Merseyside [Goal.com].
The success of Alisson last season has resulted in Mignolet becoming a bit-part player at Liverpool, but his German manager reckons he’s staying.
However, it looks like the 31-year-old’s entourage have very different plans for their client.
Speaking to Belgian outlet DH on Tuesday, his representative said he’s hoping that the former Sunderland star does leave, and wants the Champions League winners to play ball if a suitable offer is lodged.
He said: “The goalkeeper game of musical chairs hasn’t started yet. It’s important for Simon to play somewhere, and our goal is still to make him leave.
“He’s still got a lot to offer, and if we have an offer, we’re counting on Liverpool making an effort.”
Mignolet didn’t make a single Premier League or Champions League appearance last term, playing just twice in the FA Cup and League Cup.
Surely Klopp wouldn’t begrudge him an exit, but goalkeeping options are in short supply for the Liverpool manager this summer, to the point where Andy Lonergan, most recently at Rochdale, is training with the first team.
Mignolet is contracted to the Anfield club until 2021.
