Liverpool’s Simon Mignolet might wish he didn’t use Twitter on Thursday.

Simon Mignolet has been hounded by Liverpool fans for his decision making in recent years, but off the field it seems like the Belgian could also improve in this respect.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper took to Twitter on Thursday to post a montage of his debut for the club in 2013, after making his 200th appearance in the 5-0 demolition of Swansea City.

It was his Mignolet’s first game since the epic 3-3 draw with Arsenal, in which the former Sunderland man was responsible for at least one of the three goals that the Reds shipped.
Understandably, fans of the Anfield club were furious, but the Liverpool supporters went back for round two with the error-prone keeper yesterday when he reminded them on Twitter of his 200-game haul for the Merseysiders.

It’s safe to say that Liverpool fans aren’t all that keen on Mignolet – who joined from the Black Cats for around £9 million, according to The Daily Mail.- and perhaps rightly so.
The Belgian has never looked like a very reliable figure between the sticks, but Jurgen Klopp’s £75 million acquisition of centre-back Virgil van Dijk might just help in that regard.
