Ross McCormack has joined Melbourne City FC on loan from Aston Villa.

Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has taken a dig at Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack on social networking site Twitter.
McCormack has joined Melbourne City FC in Australia from Aston Villa in the Championship in England on loan.
The 31-year-old moved to Villa from Fulham in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £12 million.
Much was expected of the former Leeds United and and Rangers striker when he arrived at Villa Park, but the Scotland international failed to make an impact for the Villans.
Former Palace chairman Jordan has taken a dig at McCormack on Twitter, suggesting that Melbourne City FC will not be pleased with the former Cardiff City and Fulham star for long.

McCormack is a very good striker who has been a success in the Championship, but his time at Villa has not been great.
The A-League is competitive, but it is not as good as the Championship, and one should not be surprised if McCormack takes it by storm.
