Simon Jordan has shared that Daniel Levy hasn’t taken too kindly to what Tim Sherwood has had to say about Tottenham Hotspur recently.

The former Crystal Palace owner, who is good friends with the Tottenham chairman, added that Tim Sherwood’s comments ‘brought out a reaction’ from Daniel Levy and he’s ‘not particularly happy’, as he told talkSPORT.

Last week, Sherwood, who is now a pundit for Sky Sports and talkSPORT, did a one-to-one interview with Jordan for his ‘Up Front With Simon Jordan’ YouTube channel.

During that edited hour conversation, the duo discussed his career, including his time as manager of the north London club.

The outspoken pundit shared how Tottenham once looked to sell Harry Kane to Leicester City, how Levy started asking Sherwood what his XI was going to be for a certain game once he found out that the now-England captain, a youngster back then, was playing ahead of big-money signings such as, Roberto Soldado.

Whilst Jordan didn’t specifically state what Levy was unhappy about, it wouldn’t be a surprise if one or all of the above, amongst other things, annoyed him when listening to that Sherwood interview.

“I have a view that there are two sides to every equation,” said Jordan on his continued defence of Levy. “I did an interview the other day with Tim Sherwood, which I can’t quite make head or tail of because I am not entirely sure Tim was telling the truth a lot of the time.

“It has brought out a reaction in Daniel that he’s not particularly happy with Sherwood and some of his observations, so we will see how that plays out.”

Levy still unpopular with Tottenham fans

The noises around Levy’s future and what he is bringing, from a footballing side, to this Tottenham side have grown this season.

There were far more calls for ‘Levy out’ than ever before, and in truth, those will still be there despite the appointment of Ange Postecoglou.

Perhaps, until the club wins a trophy, will fans’ opinions of their chairman change because, if they continue to decline, then Mr. Unpopular will become as unpopular as Arsenal.
