Both Arsenal boss Unai Emery and Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce have come under some serious pressure from their own fans this season.

Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has claimed that there are certain sections of Arsenal and Newcastle fans who are ‘overly dissentful’ about their club.
The TalkSport pundit still thinks Arsenal, who have faced difficult times in recent weeks, are still a ‘benchmark’ for ‘so many good things in the Premier League’.
Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka made the headlines for the wrong reasons recently, whilst both Arsenal and Newcastle fans have, at some point this season, been critical of the man in their dugout.
Speaking to Final Word on TalkSport (03/11/19), Jordan seemingly thinks that Arsenal and Newcastle fans need to be less critical of the situation they find themselves in.
“There’s an element of a section of Arsenal fans that are just disruptive, and destructive,” Jordan told TalkSport. “And it doesn’t matter what they’re watching, it’s a case of whatever they haven’t got seems to be the reasons why they are unhappy.
“There are two clubs that striker a chord with me in terms of fans being overly dissentful, one is Newcastle and the other one is Arsenal.
“I cannot help but know that they’ll turn around and say ‘what the hell do you know?’ – I think Arsenal are a fabulous club. I think over the years, it has been a benchmark for so many good things in the Premier League.”

There’s no doubt that both Arsenal and Newcastle should be aiming for much higher honours in the Premier League – with Arsenal sitting outside of the top-four and the Magpies battling relegation.
The Gunners have, for some years now, lost that touch to even challenge for the Premier League title, whilst Newcastle find themselves just surviving in the Premier League.
Both would point towards their respective owners for showing a lack of ambition on the field, and there’s no doubt that both sections of supporters would be pleased if Stan Kroenke and Mike Ashley were to part ways.
